Hi Pius,
By and large I see the positive. The new technologies simplifiy Digital Control Technologies dramatically.
Biggest advantage - Development time has become really short and there are tremendous price adavantages for the end user. This is our excitement!
As an example following my basic WiFi developments:
Im just programming a DCC control station (as an extension to my WiFi control system) which will be available for 200 Euros (5 Amps).
20 Amps for 250 Euros presumably.
This would have never happend with legacy technologies.
