Unten ein Link zu einem interesanten Artikel in dem beschrieben ist was ich versucht habe aufzuzeichnen.. (Leider in Englisch)
Am Ende ist das wie mit Windows und Apple, nichts ist kompatibel, weil hersteller Ihren eigenen Weg gehen und das auserhalb der NMRA Norm. Fuer den Anfang mag das vielleicht noch rueckwaerts kompatibel sein, aber ich habe eine gute Idee wohin das fuehrt.

There is a a strong debate about the utility of Railcom, and even more about the newborn Railcom Plus. Some critisize Lenz & ESU for betraying the MOROP. In some ways, Railcom and Railcom Plus are a lot like an Apple computer: it is a closed environment, encouraging you to buy products from the same brands.
My personal opinion is simple: if the closed environment brings me advantages I want, I dont mind. Though I do understand those who disagree.
