Es gibt noch ein neues Update von Mr. Leppan:

Geschrieben von Mike Leppan Hi Zubi
It's Official again, I received my very nice surprise in the inbox
this afternoon, asking me to be a part (albeit on a temporary basis
until final contracts are sorted out) of the regrowth of LGB in South
Africa. This time the contract was a real German contract... My old
one was a handshake and a welcome to the LGB Family!
I can tell you that along with this contract came a list of all
available stock, and future production schedules. The list is very
much the same list of 2007 products that were on the original 2007
stock lists. I think I found 5 or 6 items that had been removed.
Pricing seems to be the same, or very slightly adjusted to make up
for cost of raw material increases. Brass Track has not jumped by
more than about US15c per 300mm piece, so I do not understand how
Aristocraft can say that they can justify the HUGE price increases
just after the LGB bankrupcy!!!?? The Gourmino Cars are listed as
being available 2008, and will cost around Euro 389 (SRP list) for
the guy who asked that question!
So, we are I hope in sight of a future of LGB being readily available
again. Oh, one item I am releived to see is the *EPL DR Factory Set
#29221. There is a little piece of History in the making, and future
Kollektors will have to contend with catalogues showing 2006 & 2007
production, but only 2008 Manufacture! (along with a lot of other
items)
Please note that what I have said here is very likely only applicable
to the World outside of the USA,,, until everything is resolved with
LGBoA. I would expect Dave or Tony to have some form of answer in the
next short time frame! (days, weeks??) I really do trust that the
guys that count can sort out the legal issues, and put away the
abacusses and come and join us playing trains... Just as Wolfgang
would have loved!
With a friendly toot of the LGB whistle.
Regards
Mike Leppan
